Huawei-linked Maextro V800 luxury MPV fails brake bracket tests

Chinese automotive platform Dongchedi tested the Maextro V800, a luxury MPV co-developed by Huawei and JAC. The brake pedal support bracket snapped in all three test vehicles during emergency stops from 100 km/h, increasing stopping distance from about 38 to 140 meters.
