Chinese EV Maextro V800 brake pedal snaps three times in testing
Three Maextro V800 vans built by JAC Group and Huawei suffered brake pedal fractures during 60-to-0-mph braking tests on ByteDance-owned Dongchedi. The automaker pledged free replacements but called the failures a result of "non-standard, extreme test conditions."
