HP HyperX Omen 15 review: 85 W RTX 5070 and 3K OLED for $2150

The HP HyperX Omen 15 is a midrange gaming laptop with a Core Ultra 9 386H, an 85 W GeForce RTX 5070 and a 3K 120 Hz OLED display for about $2150. Its main weakness is the capped TGP: in newer titles like Forza Horizon 6 it runs 10–20% slower than rivals with the same GPU.

• Core Ultra 9 386H, 85 W RTX 5070, 3K 120 Hz OLED, priced around $2150
• 10–20% slower than other RTX 5070 laptops due to lower TGP
• No RTX 5070 Ti option; buyers must move up to the pricier Omen Max
• Two DDR5 SODIMM slots and two M.2 2280 slots, but no Thunderbolt
