Modi opens Semicon India 2026 in New Delhi on 76th birthday

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the fifth Semicon India 2026 forum in Dwarka, New Delhi, on his 76th birthday. Under Semicon India 1.0, 12 projects were approved and three companies have started making chips for domestic and export markets. More than 600 companies, delegates from 52 countries, over 400 executives and 100 speakers are taking part.
