US and Iran accounted for 86% of global military drone exports in 2022–2025
SIPRI data shows the US exported 7,592 military drones in 2022–2025, narrowly ahead of Iran's 6,800, together making up 86% of global exports. In 2025 Iran overtook the US for the first time, delivering 2,002 drones versus 402 after Washington suspended aid to Ukraine.
