UK unveils sweeping AI security plans and resumes frontier model testing

AI minister Kanishka Narayan announced plans to use frontier models to find vulnerabilities in government systems, cutting fix times from 50 to 8 days. DCMS, NCSC and AISI will jointly handle agentic AI incidents, and AISI has resumed testing frontier models including Gemini 4 Argon.
