Micron Taiwan workers demand profit-sharing bonus

The union at Micron's Taiwan unit demanded that 15% of operating profit be allocated to employee bonuses, while the company's proposed plan offers only 4–5%. Micron is offering Taiwanese employees a one-time bonus of NT$1 million (about $32,692) and stock compensation. The union does not rule out a strike if there is no concrete response in negotiations on 18 and 21 September.
