Nvidia's China AI-chip share falls to 34% as Huawei closes gap

Nvidia shipped 678,000 AI accelerators in China in the first half of 2026, down 44% year over year, giving it a 34% market share, according to IDC. Huawei shipped 572,000 chips for a 28% share, while non-GPU accelerators overtook GPUs in shipment volume.
