Overdrive app for jailbroken PS5s allegedly offers free games and DLC

A new app called Overdrive is circulating on X as a free game store for jailbroken PS5 consoles, mimicking the PlayStation Store with free games and DLC. Its developer and file sources are unknown, early user reports are mixed, and a similar open-source project, Orbit Store, lists 147 games linked from Archive.org.

• Overdrive shows download size and review scores instead of prices, with Battlefield 6 and Forza Horizon 5 listed
• Orbit Store by saawant12 is an open-source beta with 147 games but hosts no files itself
• Both apps appeared after the Relapse jailbreak for PS5 firmware 7.00 through 13.60
• Sony shipped firmware 14.00 and 14.10 with security fixes; there is no official downgrade path
