Valve releases full CAD files for Steam Frame, opening door to mods

Valve has published complete CAD files for the Steam Frame VR headset for free, covering the light blocker, head strap, battery housing, facial interface, core module and controllers. The documentation also details the auxiliary port, which offers a Gen4 PCIe lane, power and camera functions. Valve confirmed an upgraded head strap with swappable batteries and off-ear speakers is coming soon.
