Delhi HC protects Vijay Deverakonda's personality rights from AI misuse

The Delhi High Court granted actor Vijay Deverakonda an interim injunction against unauthorised AI deepfakes, impersonation accounts and merchandise using his identity. Meta, Google, X, Flipkart, Amazon, Meesho and Redbubble must remove 94 listed URLs, registrars must lock domains and MeitY and DoT must block access within 72 hours. The order runs until the next hearing on February 2, 2027.
