SpaceX Crew-13 sets US record with 7-hour 55-minute trip to ISS

SpaceX's Crew-13 arrived at the ISS on October 1, 2026, just 7 hours and 55 minutes after launching from Cape Canaveral on a Falcon 9 and Crew Dragon. That beats the previous US record of 14 hours 43 minutes set by Crew-11 in August 2025. Russia's Soyuz MS-17 still holds the all-time record at 3 hours 3 minutes in 2020.

• Crew-13: NASA's Watkins and Delaney, CSA's Kutryk, Roscosmos' Teteryatnikov
• Docking took 7 hours 55 minutes versus Crew-11's 14 hours 43 minutes
• All-time record remains Soyuz MS-17 at 3 hours 3 minutes in October 2020
• Trip time depends on the ISS's orbital position and launch readiness
