ESA weighs whether Europe's rocket capacity can meet launch demand peaking around 2030

The European Space Agency is reviewing whether Europe's current rocket capacity can serve a satellite launch market that may peak around 2030. Arianespace projects nine or ten Ariane 6 flights per year from 2027, while Amazon has already commissioned 18 launches. ESA is funding private rocket makers under its European Launcher Challenge.
