iPhone Handoff in iOS 27: one number on two iPhones, T-Mobile only for now
iOS 27 introduces iPhone Handoff, letting users share one phone number across two iPhones, with the number active only on the unlocked device. T-Mobile is the only US carrier supporting it so far, charging $5 a month; Verizon will add it by the end of 2026, while AT&T has not committed.
