SAP ships ABAP Development Tools for VS Code

SAP has made its ABAP Development Tools for VS Code generally available, built on the Language Server Protocol with MCP support for agentic workflows. Full object-type parity with Eclipse ADT is targeted for mid-2027, while classic dynpros and SAPscript remain Eclipse-only.
