Digital Realty starts construction of 24MW KIX15 data center in Japan

Digital Realty has begun construction on the KIX15 data center at its Osaka campus in Ibaraki City, Japan. The facility will add 24MW of capacity as the fifth building at the KIX Campus, with operations expected in Q4 2028. The project is developed through the MC Digital Realty joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation, bringing MCDR's total Japan capacity to 220MW.
