Toshiba starts HDD shipments from expanded Philippine line
Toshiba has begun shipping nearline HDDs from its expanded Laguna Technopark line in the Philippines. The investment is valued at about ¥60 billion ($380 million) over three years and is expected to create roughly 3,000 jobs, with capacity nearly doubling by fiscal 2027 versus fiscal 2025.
