Amazon builds 1,000th Leo satellite, claims speed edge over Starlink
Amazon has completed its 1,000th Leo broadband satellite as it nears commercial rollout. Leo chief Rajeev Badyal claims gigabit downloads and 400 Mbps uploads — roughly 3x Starlink on the downlink and 8–10x on the uplink. Delta and other airlines plan to adopt Leo for in-flight WiFi by early 2028.
