Report: OpenSearch awareness hits 89%, but only 36% call it mission-critical

The 2026 Open Data Infrastructure Report shows 36% of organizations run OpenSearch in production with another 36% in the pipeline. Yet only 36% of users describe their deployment as mission-critical, while 60% call it experimental or replaceable. 62% of users already run it for AI workloads.
