Simplexity Robotics trains one robot to tend two CNC lathes
Simplexity Robotics has trained a single i7 Pro robot to tend two CNC lathes on its own, loading parts into chucks with about 0.5 mm clearance and unloading them after machining. Training used 600 real-robot trajectories, and the company reported a 100% success rate on the precision insertion task.
- Trained on 600 real-robot trajectories with the i7 Pro
- Chuck loading clearance is about 0.5 millimeters
