The Boring Company signs Abu Dhabi tunnel study deal
The Boring Company has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi to study underground transport and utility tunnels across the emirate. The parties will assess feasibility and operating models, with no construction commitment or budget announced yet. In Nashville, the company is preparing to start a third and fourth Prufrock machine.
- The deal was signed at LIVEX 2026 by Boring Company President Steve Davis and ADPIC head Maysarah Mahmoud Salim Eid
- Last month the company closed a $3 billion Series D at a $23 billion valuation
- The UAE commitment covers over 150 km of tunnels; the Dubai Loop pilot spans 6.4 km for about $154 million
- A third Prufrock machine could start digging the Music City Loop in Nashville in late October
