GTA V runs fully offline in Chrome on an M1 MacBook Air

A modder got GTA V running entirely offline inside Google Chrome on an M1 MacBook Air. The x86_64 engine is compiled to 64-bit WebAssembly, rendering uses WebGPU with roughly 6,600 shaders translated to WGSL, and about 20 GB of assets are streamed into browser cache.
