Influencers Push Cheap Meta AI Glasses Dupes Without Recording Light

Cheap knockoffs of Meta's AI glasses priced at $40–100 are being promoted by TikTok creators as alternatives to the several-hundred-dollar originals. A key selling point in the ads is that the dupes lack or can block the LED recording indicator, enabling discreet filming. Most of the dupes run on the HeyCyan app from China-based Shenzhen Qingcheng, which is under scrutiny by the Australian government.
