German regulator: Meta Glasses recording light is 'not easily visible'

Hamburg's data protection commissioner tested Ray-Ban Meta glasses and found the capture LED is hard to see outdoors and in direct sunlight, with too narrow a beam angle. A firmware update now re-checks the LED every few seconds, but the regulator says it is not enough and calls for explicit consent from people being recorded.
