EU AI Transparency Rules Take Effect August 2, 2026
From August 2, 2026, Article 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689) will require providers and deployers of AI systems to disclose AI interactions and label AI-generated content, including deepfakes. Penalties reach €15 million or 3% of global turnover.
