Intel never shipped the 16GB Arc B770 GPU the market needed
Intel built the BMG-G31 chip with 32 Xe cores and 16GB of GDDR6 for a consumer Arc B770, but only shipped it as the 32GB workstation Arc Pro B70. In games it roughly matched the RX 9060 XT and trailed the RTX 5060 Ti by about 6%, while its die size made a sub-$400 price unviable.
