Nutanix bets $20m on GPUs to run 80% of workloads on open-weight models

Nutanix is investing $20m in its own GPU infrastructure to run four-fifths of its workloads on open-weight models instead of costly frontier systems. Chief revenue officer Andrew Brinded said blue-chip LLMs will be reserved for heavier-duty operations.
