New Google Gemini setting could give AI broad access to Macs
Google is preparing a full-access permission for Gemini on macOS that would let it read, modify and delete any file, open apps and browse the web without asking each time. The "Additional sandbox options" setting also covers network access and interaction with Mail, Safari and Messages. Apple is meanwhile tightening Full Disk Access rules for AI agents.
