Google Gemini may soon get full access to Mac files, apps and web
Google is testing a hidden "Additional sandbox options" setting in the Gemini Desktop app that would let the AI assistant access any file on a Mac, open apps, and browse the web. The feature is not live yet and Google has not confirmed it; Gemini would still ask for confirmation before sensitive actions like purchases or money transfers.
