FCC proposes mid-band spectrum auction and opening 800MHz for drones
The FCC laid out three proposals to change wireless rules: overhauling direct-to-device regulations, auctioning 25 MHz of mid-band spectrum, and allowing drones to use the 800 MHz band (about 50 MHz). The plans will be put to a vote later this month.
