Young workers are shifting toward AI-proof jobs
A Stanford Digital Economy Lab study of ADP payroll data found employment among 22- to 25-year-olds in highly AI-exposed professions is 19% lower than it would have been had it tracked other fields since 2022. In the 40% of jobs most exposed to AI, youth employment fell 11%, while less exposed categories rose 10%.
