New 128MW battery shifts solar power into four hours of peak electricity demand

Georgia Power has put the 128 MW Robins Battery Facility into commercial operation next to the Robins Solar plant. The storage delivers up to four hours of energy during peak hours; over 3000 MW of new battery projects have been approved in the state.
