Indonesia seeks facial liveness tech for national digital ID

Indonesia's Home Affairs Ministry, backed by the World Bank, has opened an Early Market Engagement for biometric facial liveness detection for remote enrollment in its IKD digital identity app. Providers must register by October 13, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Jakarta time.
