Meta Is Building Theater Home Virtual Cinema for Quest and VR Glasses

Datamining of Horizon OS 2.9 PTC reveals Theater Home, a virtual cinema environment for Quest headsets and upcoming VR Glasses. It launches via a Theater button in the window control bar rather than as a standard VR Home, and supports a Dynamic Ambience feature that renders colored light around the focused panel.

• Theater Home environment found in Horizon OS 2.9 PTC, build tagged v210
• Launched via a Theater button in the window control bar, exiting returns to VR Home
• Dynamic Ambience adds a colored glow around the focused theater panel during playback
• Release timing unknown, may ship alongside the Loma Home VR environment
