Meta launches $1M developer competition for VR Glasses hand-tracked apps

Meta announced its VR Start Developer Competition with a $1 million prize pool for content built for its VR Glasses. Submissions run from today through November 18, 2026, with prizes ranging from $20,000 to $100,000 and winners announced around December 11. Games must be fully playable with hands, end-to-end, without controllers.
