Space Force Charts GPS Gen4 as $6.27B OCX Collapse Resets Acquisition Rules

Five months after canceling the 15-year, $6.27B GPS ground control program OCX without a working system, the US Space Force announced a modular GPS successor built on commercial solutions. The Resilient GPS program has been revived with $15M from Congress and a target launch in 2028.
