Norway, Australia, UK and US move to curb Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses
Norway announced on 5 October plans for a temporary ban on AI glasses in parks, beaches, museums, malls and public events, as well as schools, gyms and healthcare facilities. Australia is weighing restrictions in government workplaces, UK and New York courts have already banned camera-equipped glasses, and Dutch retailer Hans Anders suspended sales of Meta Ray-Ban on 2 October.
