GM updates its trucks' native software to coexist with CarPlay

General Motors unveiled a new interface for the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500: CarPlay and Android Auto now occupy a separate picture-in-picture card instead of the full screen. The update also simplifies trailer and off-road mode controls, moving some functions to touchscreens.
