Skydance to merge HBO Max and Paramount Plus into one service

After completing the $110 billion merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery, Skydance plans to unify HBO Max and Paramount Plus into a single streaming service over time. The two platforms currently have more than 200 million subscribers combined, and no name for the new service has been announced.
