Airtel Money's $7bn IPO excludes its Nigerian fintech business

Airtel Money lists on the London Stock Exchange on October 14 at £1.96 per share, valuing the business at £5.3 billion ($7 billion), but without its Nigerian fintech arm SmartCash. A Central Bank of Nigeria directive forced the transfer of a 25% stake back to Airtel Networks for $3 million.
