Infor expands Industry AI platform as survey flags generic AI gaps

Infor unveiled an expanded Industry AI architecture and the next evolution of Velocity Suite, adding adaptive UX, agent governance and industry-specific AI agents. A YouGov survey of 2,111 decision-makers across seven markets found 68% say off-the-shelf AI does not fit their industry's needs.

• Manufacturing 73%, distribution 76% and retail 69% reported the same gap
• 59% of businesses expect AI investment to rise over the next 12 months
