Monster Hunter Wilds to end paid character edits as Capcom scraps microtransaction

Starting December 3, Capcom is removing paid Edit Vouchers for Monster Hunter Wilds from stores: players will receive 10 free vouchers for their character and Palico. With the Ascendance expansion in 2027, changing appearance will be unlimited and free.

• From December 3, paid vouchers will disappear from digital stores
• Players will get 10 vouchers for hunter and 10 for Palico free
• After Ascendance release, appearance changes become free and unlimited
• Previously purchased vouchers won't be refunded, but a set of pendants will be given
