Vietnam expands VNeID into securities sector

Vietnamese citizens with level-2 electronic identity accounts can now open securities accounts directly in the VNeID app. One securities firm says over 70 percent of its new trading accounts are opened via VNeID. The expansion follows Decree 320/2026/ND-CP, effective September 28.
