Kia EV3 launches in the US from $29,890 with up to 321 miles of range

Kia has started US sales of its compact EV3 crossover, priced from $29,890 before a $1,495 destination fee. It offers two battery sizes (58.3 and 81.4 kWh), front- or all-wheel drive and five trims, with up to 321 miles of range.

• Base Light FWD: 58.3 kWh pack and 221 miles of range
• Wind FWD at $34,990: 81.4 kWh pack and 321 miles
• All-wheel drive makes 261 hp and cuts range to 280 miles
• Top GT at $45,890: 288 hp and 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds
