Jeep Recon EV managed just 160 miles in real-world highway range test

The Jeep Recon EV, launched this summer from $66,995, drove only 160 miles on a single charge in Car and Driver's highway range test, versus the EPA estimate of 222 miles. Its efficiency of 1.7 miles per kWh was among the worst of over 100 models tested.
