Kickstarter Becomes Testing Ground for Next Wave of Desktop 3D Printers

Four 3D printer campaigns on Kickstarter have raised nearly $29 million in a few months. HeyGears led with $17.8 million from over 4,000 backers for its full-color G1 Series, priced from $1,999. FibreSeek raised $4.7 million, Sovol M1D $3.2 million and LightMake L4 over $3.1 million.
