SAP turns Joule into an agentic work layer as Autonomous Enterprise goes live

At SAP Connect 2026, SAP announced general availability of its Autonomous Enterprise architecture this month, along with Joule Work and Joule Desktop. Joule evolves from a chat assistant into a full-screen agentic layer that works across SAP and third-party apps, monetized primarily via consumption-based AI units.
