Cloudflare launches Web Search API in beta for AI agents

On October 2, 2026, Cloudflare opened a public beta of its Web Search API, giving AI agents real-time web search on top of AI Gateway. Three providers are available at launch — Ceramic.ai, Exa and Linkup — all with Zero Data Retention, billed at each provider's list price with no Cloudflare markup.
