Korea's APR1400 Reactor Set for First U.S. Deployment
The U.S. has cleared the construction of two APR1400 reactors as part of a $120 billion project covering eight large nuclear units. Westinghouse dropped its opposition after pressure from the U.S. Commerce Department; Korean firms may take a 5–10% stake in Westinghouse.
