Google will now let any AI agent run your smart home

Google Home added integration with the Model Context Protocol: third-party AI agents (Claude, Antigravity, Open Claw) will be able to control devices, analyze event history and create dashboards. The feature is available to Google Home Premium Advanced subscribers in the US for $20/month, rolling out over the coming weeks.
